About The SRWA
The Shawsheen River Watershed Association, Inc. (SRWA) is a non-profit, all volunteer organization.
Our mission is to protect, restore, and enjoy the Shawsheen River and its watershed. We host many activities to accomplish that mission.
These include public paddles, educational events, and river cleanups.
The SRWA is registered with the state of Massachusetts as a tax-exempt charitable organization. The SRWA is recognized by the IRS as a non-taxable organization under 501(c)3. Donations to the SRWA are tax-deductible.

Funds and Expenses
Our funding primarily comes from membership fees and donations.
Our expenses include fees for forums, tire recycling fees, dumpster fees, postage, IRS fees, publishing the TRIB, maintaining our web site, and the general costs of running an organization.
We have no paid employees and provide an enormous return for money spent.
Getting Involved
We invite you to
become a member and help SRWA preserve and protect the Shawsheen River and its Watershed.
There are many ways for people to get involved. Join us for a free public paddle, a paddling demo or a cleanup, or start an activity of your own.
along the way, you'll make some new friends and make a difference.
