These pipes cross the river above what is left of the roll dam, near Haverhil St. in Andover.

   It is the fifth obstacle you would find on a trip downstream through Andover.

    Portage here is only necessary in very low water conditions.

    The flood in June of '97 left this tree trunk caught between the pipes.

   This photo was salvaged from the ill fated scouting trip in April'98, the film survived,the camera didn't.

   Lesson learned? Never take a river lightly!
